Robyn Hitchcock Revisited
As luck would have it, I made it to all three Robyn Hitchcock gigs over the weekend in Toronto (sorry, Arcade Fire). The best part? He didn't repeat a single song. Makes sense when you consider the dozens of albums worth of material he's written over the last four decades, but he was also generous with covers and strange new observations. He had a particularly amusing run on Saturday night about his generation's refusal to grow up. At 57, he claims he's still re-buying Beatles remasters every chance he gets and his kids are actually older than he is.
